Sage Camosse and I had the opportunity to talk with Matthew DiStefano while he was on campus for the Hofstra Volleyball Invitational, Distefano is the founder of the Dezystrong Foundation and is currently battling stage four kidney cancer. His organization is doing tremendous things for the community and he lives an incredibly inspiring life. Update: DiStefano sadly passed away on Jan. 27, 2020 at the age of 42.
