WRHU-FM was honored with the 2021 World Radio Day Award, an award given out by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Academy of Radio Arts and Sciences. As a way to celebrate, on Friday Feb. 12, WRHU hosted an international broadcast, featuring simulcasts and interviews with stations around the world ranging from South Africa, Taiwan, Dubai and London to American stations in New York and across the country.
I was in the studio all day in an effort to capture the magic of it all.
